This was well attended by over 120 doctors in the region. Approximately 50% were accommodated from regional peripheral hospitals and rest from three teaching hospitals in the region. (Kandy, Peradeniya, Sirimavo Childrens Hospital)\u00a0\u00a0 Contributions towards academic programme were made by the regional members of SLSIM . The topics discussed at this session were Chest pain, Dyspnea, Hypertension, Syncope, Headache, Febrile thrombocytopenia, Diabetes, Dyslipidaemia and\u00a0 Elevated liver enzymes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><b>Faculty<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">Dr. Kapila de Alwis.\u00a0 Consultant Physician- District General Hospital, Gampola<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Rohitha Jayamaha.
