The Regional Meeting in Jaffna was a remarkable success, featuring a diverse range of programs, including the Doctors’ Program, Nurses’ Program, ‘Weda Jana Kathikawa’ Public Forum (வைத்தியர்கள் - ப ொதுமக்கள் கலந்துவையொடல்), a POCUS hands-on skill workshop for internists and the Research Guide.
The ‘Weda Jana Kathikawa’ Public Forum (வைத்தியர்கள் – ப ொதுமக்கள் கலந்துவையொடல்) segment of the Regional Meeting in Jaffna was held on the 19th, February at Suriya Mahal Hall, Point Pedro, on a grand scale, with over 350 participants in attendance.
Pre- and post-program quizzes were conducted for both the Doctors’ and Nurses’ Programs, with winners being recognized and awarded prizes.
The College publications, the Intern Survival Guide and Toxicology Handbook, were donated to the medical wards of Jaffna Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine, University of Jaffna.
