In commemoration of World Hypertension Day 2025,

In commemoration of World Hypertension Day 2025, the Sri Lanka College of Internal Medicine (SLCIM), in collaboration with the Non-Communicable Disease Directorate of the Ministry of Health, successfully organized a hybrid event titled ‘Update on Management of Hypertension’. The event was held on the 15th of May 2025 at the ClinMARC Auditorium, National Hospital of Sri Lanka.

A key highlight of the programme was the series of insightful lectures delivered by the guest speaker, Professor Neil Poulter, a leading expert in hypertension research from Imperial College, London, UK.
