Regional Education Program on Hypertension and Dyslipidemia
A regional meeting on Hypertension and Dyslipidemia was held with the collaboration of Ruhuna Clinical Society on 18th of July 2019 at General Hospital Matara. The importance of reducing serum triglycerides was discussed related to dyslipidemia and newly hypertension, management of resistant hypertension, hypertension in pregnancy and hypertensive emergencies were discussed by Professor T.P. Weerarathna, Dr. H.M.M. Herath, Dr. Sajiv De Silva, Dr. Arosha Abeywickrama and Dr. Roshan Gunarathne. Dr. Arosha Abeywickrama organized this meeting and moret than 50 members of SLCIM and Ruhuna Clinical Society participated in this very successful meeting.
